Information we collect

Information you give us:

• Contact form. Your name, email address, phone number (optional), and your message.
• Booking and gift cards. Online booking and gift card purchases are handled by Square. Square collects details such as your name, phone number, email address, appointment details, and payment information. We receive your appointment and contact details; we do not see or store full card numbers.
• Messages. When you message us through Google, call, text, or email us, we receive your name or number as shown and what you send.
• Marketing sign-up. If you agree to receive our texts or emails, we keep your phone number or email address and a record of your consent.
• Service notes. Information you share so we can serve you safely, such as allergies or a sensitive skin condition. Please share health details in person or by phone rather than by text or online message.

Information collected automatically:

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how the website is used: pages viewed, buttons clicked (such as Book, Call, or Directions), device and browser type, approximate location, and the site that referred you. These tools use cookies.
• Hosting. Our website host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses.
• Maps. Pages with an embedded Google Map load it from Google, which may set its own cookies.

How we use your information

• To answer your questions and messages.
• To schedule and manage appointments, including confirmations and reminders.
• To sell and honor gift cards.
• To provide services safely.
• To send promotions and salon news, only if you have agreed to receive them.
• To improve our website and see which pages and posts help people book.
• To prevent spam, fraud, and misuse, and to meet legal requirements.

Marketing texts and emails

• We send marketing texts and emails only to people who have agreed to receive them. Agreeing is never a condition of buying a service.
• Text message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.
• Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
• If you opt out of marketing, we may still send messages about your appointments or purchases.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or your text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.

Messaging us through Google

• You can message us from our Google Business Profile. Some replies are written automatically by Google’s AI assistant, using information from our Google profile and this website. A member of our team may also reply.
• Google processes these messages under the Google Privacy Policy.
• Automated replies are for convenience and can be wrong. An appointment is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation from our booking system or from our staff.
• Please do not send card numbers or health details by message.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us run the salon, which use it only to provide their services to us: Square (booking, payments, and gift cards), Netlify (website hosting and our contact form), Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Maps, and Business Profile messaging), and the services we use to send texts and emails.
• Legal and safety reasons, when the law requires it or to protect our clients, staff, or business.
• A future owner of the salon, if the business is sold or transferred.

Cookies and your choices

• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website still works without them.
• To stop Google Analytics from measuring your visits, you can use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop marketing messages, by contacting us below. We may need to keep some records, such as payment and tax records, where the law requires it.

How long we keep it, and how we protect it

• We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above: client and appointment records while you are a client and as long as accounting and tax rules require, and contact form messages until your question is resolved.
• We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

• This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them online. Kid’s Spa appointments are made by a parent or guardian.
• If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Other websites

• Our website links to Square, Google, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

Changes to this policy

• We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
